Rhodonite
Rhodonite is found in small deposits in various regions around the world. The most notable mines are in Russia, Australia, Brazil, Argentina and the United States. It is harvested from metamorphic rock deep below Earth's surface. The mineral Rhodonite is pink by nature but often has black veins running through it. These veins are caused by manganese oxides which are natural impurities that discolor the stone, leaving black marks where they are present. This stone's sharp contrast of colors gives it a very distinctive and striking appearance.
